Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only children to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various TV dramas before she turned 16. She was praised for her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra is known for her involvement in many noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally.
